Another day, another weird freaking couple deciding to take a stand by refusing to tip the server who just spent an hour or so of her time waiting on them.
Adam Dart and his wife were dining at Jess’ Lunch Downtown in Harrisonburg, Virginia, where they were served by a nice young American citizen named Sadie Karina. The Darts saw that this nice young woman was a woman of color and assumed that they were being served by an ILLEGAL ALIEN! Because we guess they think that all American citizens are white people or something!

Furious at Karina, an American citizen, for taking a job from an American citizen, the Darts decided to vote with their dollar and refuse to tip her. And not only that, they wrote down their reasoning — “We Only Tip CITIZENS” — on the line normally reserved for the tip. So she would know they were onto her scheme, and promptly leave America for another country that she is not a citizen of!
Karina’s grandfather was understandably upset by the incident, and posted the receipt on Facebook, where other people were also appalled. According to RawStory, WHSV news has a copy of the surveillance tape showing the couple stiffing the American Citizen they thought was not an American Citizen.
You know, I could be wrong here, but this particular tactic never really seems to work out well for those who try it out. I’m guessing there is some kind of “Rules For Wingnut Radicals” that suggests it, given how often it happens, but I’ve never seen an instance where anyone, including conservative media, was like “WOW! Good job, you! Way to stand up for your beliefs by stiffing that server!” No! No one is into that.
If you think that this is a good tactic, or a good idea, you should consider reevaluating your stance on everything, because clearly you have poor judgement that extends well beyond your apparent inability to use your psychic powers to distinguish a Real American Citizen from an undocumented immigrant.
